Hello everyone,

I am sorry to intrude on your day, but Hello.
I am New to the idea of Forums, Fairly New to Arizona, and a New SSR owner.

I joined this forum hoping to meet people with SSR's and to ask some questions (having never owned anything other than a mini van my whole life).

I am having issues finding tires for my SSR. most places I have tried including the dealer tell me they are on back order across the country......
any suggestions would be very helpful.

Have a happy thursday
Joyce

Joyce,
Do you have a custom paint job or do you mean Pacific Blue or Aqua Blur? I know, we're picky about our colors!

BTW... Look in the Library section of Articles under construction for one on Tires. There is tons of info there for alternatives.... the OEM tires are almost impossible to find. Here's the link

http://www.ssrfanatic.com/forum/f51/tires-28867/

All the best! Michael

Welcome from South Florida, finding tires has been somewhat of a challenge, however, you have a very active group in your area and I am sure someone will post ideas for around you; I was very blessed a month or so ago finding front's through my local chevy dealer who got them in 2 days so it made me think the factory may still have them somewhere.

GOD BLESS THE USA.

I was told it is bermuda blue from the dealer, and that's the name on the little bottle of paint they gave me for chips.....Other than that, I'm afraid I really do not know much about cars, but love learning about my SSR.....the color changes from blue to green and sometime purple in the different light.

Thank you for the link to the tire, I gretly appreciate it.

If it's rear tires, this guy has some:
SSR tires (rear)

My last contact with GY stated that tires would be made next week.....

I guess I could reverify that information....

Yes... it sounds like you have an Aqua Blur! So is mine! I would not use the rock chip paint they gave you... it's not right... If I were you I'd find the "Build Sheet" thread and ask for one. Then you'll know everything about your SSR!

Good luck on the tire search!
