Party, Party, Party in Sedona

IT WILL BE PARTY TIME IN SEDONA,

August 30th in early afternoon, the location will be at our home in Sedona, 141 Vista Bonita Dr.

It is Elaine's 39th birthday and she is celebrating it for the 55th time!!!!!!!!

This is a POTLUCK, bring your favorite dish, Elaine refuses to cook for her own birthday. We will have all of the beef, and chicken for everyone. Please RSVP as we can get a head count of our friends in attendance.

If you need hotel info, let us know, Sedona fills up early on holiday weekends.

Hope to see you in August

Elaine and Duane

Wait just a damned minute! 39 celebrating for the 55th time equals 94. There is no way! Duane may be that old, but not the lovely Elaine!! Elaine, we hope to make it for your 39th birthday celebration - even 39 is hard to believe. How did you end up with an old fart like what's-his-name?

Duane,
I'm 95% sure you can count us in as we'll be returning to Calif from Lakewood CO with a stop in the Sedona area. Looking forward to seeing what kind of hotel rates you can come up with.

We have found 2 different places.... just have to decide which one or somewhere else:

Hampton Inn, AARP rate (for us old folks) $134.10/night
Comfort Inn, AARP rate (ditto) $107.10/night

Both in Sedona

I think some of the others are staying at a Ramada outside Phoenix.... but you can't party and drive that far. So, my bet is we will be in Sedona!

I will check for lower rates later tonight.

BlueThunder & LloGer - Where are you folks staying for the Sedona party? If we can get rooms there, I'll swear we never met you and I won't ask you to post bail for us...!

If you don't tell us, we'll hunt you down and embarass you (I know, really hard to do, but we'll try.)

What you need a room for?
Litchfield Park to Sedona is only 123 miles and I understand you're a heavy lead foot type so that less then a 2 hrs drive.

Sorry guys. I have been out of the office since noontime.

We are driving over early Saturday morning. The event is in the afternoon to early evening, so we opted to get a room at the edge of Phoenix that is on our way home. Nice Ramada for $69 a night. It also makes the drive home shorter. We intend to have breakfast Sunday morning, and leave for home around 9 a.m. Here is the link:

Ramada | Glendale Arizona Hotel | Glendale, AZ 85308 | Near Arizona Center shops and restaurants (19 Miles), Cricket Pavillion Concerts (10 Miles) & Historic Downtown Glendale (6 Miles)

That must be some other Ol Basta...oops Buzzard you're talking about. I have no speeding tickets in the R!! (knock wood) We have friends in Flagstaff we will probably see for breakfast Sunday a.m., and I'm much too old to drive to Sedona, back to LP, then to Flagstaff, back to LP. Blueeyes has issues with driving at night, and I have issues with driving after a couple of brews , so we will probably opt for a room. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

For Duane - what would you like us to bring, and how many folks will attend? (so we know how much to bring)
