Thumbs up Sat Feb 21 Ice Cream Show & Shine

Mark the date: Saturday, February 21st 9am - 1pm
We have been invited out to the Baskin & Robbins located at:

13000 W Indian School Rd # A11
Litchfield Park, AZ 85340

for an Ice Cream Show & Shine by George, the B&R Proprietor.
George will have his Slingshot there as well.

Please let me know if you can make it out, so we can give him a heads up.
I may have heard him say something like a free scoop to each SSR.

I don't know about this one - we'd have to drive almost 1/2 mile to get there....

Yeah, maybe so.

For anyone interested in breakfast,

there's a Mimi's Cafe at 1220 N. Dysart Road, just 2 1/2 miles south of the BR store, and 2nd light north of the I-10 on Dysart. I think we'll go there for breakfast about 7:30-8:00 or so. See you there?

Rob

Bill and I would like to join in.

Is it an open invite to anyone or just SSR owners?

I have found a couple of friends with hot rods that would like to come.

Bump!

For those not familiar with the West Valley (damnear East LA!), Mimi's Cafe on Dysart Road is 1/2 block north of I-10 on the west side, exit on Dysart Road. Mimi's is just 2.3 miles south of Indian School Road where the B&R is located (Showtime!!). If you're looking for 130th Avenue, it's Dysart.

Will we see you there Saturday morning, 7:30-7:45 or so?

Larry & Nancy, we'll save you a seat at the grown-up's table!!

Breakfast, followed by ICE CREAM!

Awful Hard to be subtle

Debbie and I are planning to attend the show & shine. At least for a little while....... We're having breakfast at Mimi's with my daughter...... It was gonna be a nice quiet breakfast..... Just Kelli (my 30-ish daughter from San Diego), Amanda (her good friend from Laveen), Debbie and me... We were then gonna drag her up to the show and shine to meet some of you guys...

Looks like "quiet" is out the window and the chance to gently introduce her to the gang will be impossible........

See you at Mimi's

Mike & Deb

Tucson Group Rides Again!

Well..... it appears that we are planning on dragging our tired bodies out of bed at the crack of dawn and leave here around 7am so we can meet everybody for breakfast before the show & shine.

I think Doophus is going to join us too!

See you in the morning.

Nope! A rental Sebring convert - ladies saw the SSR's and hoped we could help get the tonneau down. We had a great time laughing at each other, and they were last seen headed 2 miles south to meet the rental company's rep with a replacement car - their car still with the tonneau upright.
