SSR at Russo and Steele

I drove the SSR to the block and the coin tray would not open and I could not get the top to work. When I tried to get the top down I got this error "Tlat Hall Switch Fault" the truck had 8503 miles on it. I let bob drive it across the block (by the way bob owns a yellow SSR that his wife uses as a daily driver) I was the high bidder at 17.5K and it did not meet the reserve. I talked to Craig in the Post sale lot and we called the owner in Texas and it had a 35K reserve.

Craig told me that he owns a Silver 05 SSR that he says was used as a parade truck at a PIR race in Nov 2004 that was driven by Bobby Unser. He said that there were 45 trucks that were used at this race. I did not know that any SSRs were used as parade trucks in Phoenix.
