Can't wait.....

We are hoping to get out of Tucson around noon. Have hotel room @ Hyatt Place, on N25th Ave for Friday night.

We will definitely be joining everyone for dinner Rio Mirage. Margarita time! Jim is going to be the DD for me!

Anyone know of any great shopping sites for Saturday AM before we meet at the Museum? I need to pick up some little things for various people who do stuff for me.

It's raining down here in the old Pueblo. COLD, windy & wet! Thank God for heated seats.

Deb and I will most likely not be able to attend the museum event Saturday, due to a family emergency.

My good friend Rob Munter will be the go to guy at the museum, as well as Mel Martin, the owner. I have spoken to both of them, and they will handle any questions. Please leave your toys and food items with Mel at the museum, and I'll pick them up next week (if the Marines do not show up, which they are supposed to).

Thanks, and have a great time. Ask Mel all the questions you want about his cars, he loves talking about them.

I've been trying to talk Mel out of this 409/4 speed for years.

Glad you had a good time Rob, and thanks.

Thanks everyone for coming today. We ended up filling the Marines truck, and I filled up the back of mine with food items for the St. Mary's Food Bank. Special thanks to Rob for helping!!

I received a certificate and letter from the Marines regarding the Toys for Tots Drive and thought I would share. Here is a part of the letter:

"I was deeply touched by the generosity of the local community this year, the efforts of all our civilian volunteers, and the time put in by our Marines and their family members. As a result of your contribution and the support of thousands of other people, the local 2011 Toys for Tots Campaign was a huge success.

The following are a few facts that we can all be proud of: 55,939: Local children received a toy this year. In addition to a toy, we also distributed stocking stuffers and age appropriate books to the children- $ 53,229.54: Local funds raised in this year's campaign-142: Non Profit Organizations received Toys, stuffers, and books to distribute to their less fortunate children-115: Events were held throughout the community in support of Toys for Tots-173: Volunteers gave time- 865: Organizations participated in the collection of toys and raising funds. While the Marine Corps Reserve is the face of Toys for Tots, this was truly a full community effort.

Thank you again, for your continued support."
