Anything happening October 10th or 11th?
We are riding out to the Phoenix area on Friday, October 9th - and having some work done at Simple Engineering on Saturday morning. We are als taking in a Phoenix Cardinals game Sunday afternoon - but if the local Fanatics have something going on - please let us know about it!

Central Avenue Cruise Oct 10, downtown
Drag racing Oct 10, Wittmann (NE of Phoenix a few miles on US 93).
Goodyear Autofest Charity Car Show Oct 10, Goodyear (20 miles west of Phoenix off I-10).
If you are staying in the area of the stadium where the Cards play, there is a cruise Saturday night about 10 miles north of the stadium.
If you're staying in the east valley (Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale) there is a cruise in Mesa - C1Trob can tell you where. Also a large cruise at McDonald's, Scottsdale Pavilions. Both of these happen every Saturday.
Knowing this bunch, if there's nothing planned at this time, there soon may be!

Sounds like there is a LOT going on out there. We are staying in Chandler - but going to any of the happenings isn't out of the question. It is just a matter of finding them - this will be our first visit to the Phoenix area - so finding the stadium on Sunday for the game is going to be challenging.

Don't feel badly, NMR.

Why don't you move it so we have a separate thread so everyone will actually look at it for that weekend?

Power Chev Show in Peoria
If we can get out of Seattle early in october we will be there, we had a great time last year at the Chev show in Tempe with the SSR and Corvette folks and dont want to miss this one.
Seems like our plans change almost as often as I change my skivvies, so we will probably be there (assuming we can pay our registration at the show, bring our gently used clothes, and keep our skivvies intact).
Any chance of enticing some of those Classical Glass owners to come to Laughlin to participate in the 5th annual?

Registrations accepted at the event, and darn glad your skivvies were changed.
I have been working on that very idea. With a little more encouragement, we'll get a few to show.

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
Registration and move-in are beginning at 8 a.m. - what time are you all planning to arrive?
Is there a designated parking area for SSR's, or are we mingling among the fantastic plastic cars?
See a bunch of you tomorrow!
I'm planning on 8-8:30 area, from Tempe.
There will be designated SSR Parking and all together, I was told last night.
We should end up face to face in our own rows.
Quick thank you to all that came out to support the Oct. Vette Fest.
I think we represented pretty well. (20 for sure)
We looked good too.
Sorry about the 102 degree, walk around the lot, but then again it was a "dry" day.
