Hi there are at least 5 SSr's in Calgary that I know of I have a red 04 that is my daily driver ( shop truck) and I have 4 friends that have bought since I got mine
Good morning No I live in the south west but if the truck you are looking at is a red 03 it belongs to a man by the name of Glen Doyle. A fter he and his wife saw my truck they bought one. Do you have an SSR?

last minute trip
I'm sitting in Calgary right now. I saw Glen's SSR, actually it's on Wilingdon Dr. We didn't dare drive through the mountains with the SSR - the summits were very messy with snow - took the Sierra instead, ten hours.
Hi I guess all we can say is Welcome home and of course Hoppy Easter. Asyou have seen today we were able to offer you just about all forms of weather today.
Hi from NW Calgary. I had an 04 Smoking Aspault which I sold last fall. When I heard they were discontinuing the SSR I purchased an 06 pacific blue in March. I have had it out a few times. It would be interesting to see how many SSR owners there are here.
question for Canadian SSR owners (or British or Australia, etc.)
I'm looking to set my SSR apart from the few around here, looking for something a bit different. So, I'm wondering if there are any differences in the SSRs built for sale outside of the US.
For example, is the instrument cluster on your SSRs in Canada labeled in metric? Any badges on the exterior besides the tailgate?
My SSR: 5184 yellow, born feb 10, 2004,, magnaflow catbacks,mikes fans,k&n air charger ,,
the only difference on a canadian truck is the gauges are in metric and all the ugly stickers have french on them..oh yeah the price is higher and then we have federal sales tax along provincal tax ( except alberta ),,,

Funny thing about our Canadian version of the truck. The literature for the Canadian SSR's said that they come with "Triple weather seals provide the added protection needed for the Canadian climate". Something none of the U.S. literature said about the U.S. SSR's.

Thanks dyoung, that's what I was hoping to hear. I'll get my brother up your way in Richmond to see if he can get an instrument gauge for me.
Higher price? Man, the price wasn't high enough? That's why I had to wait for 3 years and then get mine off eBay.....
My SSR: Was - 2006 Slingshot Yellow: Final Production Run #23343 Born Feb 21, 2006 (Moved on to a good home)
Checking in from Bearspaw / NW Calgary.
Sounds like we need to schedule a meet out here to compare trucks. I have a 4 post lift in the garage if anyone needs to get their truck up in the air and there is usually beer in the fridge in the "mens den"
