lunch at The Flying Beaver tomorrow
Any fanatics out and about tomorrow afternoon in the B.C. Lower Mainland/Vancouver area please drop by for an improptu meet and greet and some lunch too. Great scenery on the river with the float planes coming and going. We're going to be there around 2:30pm. in the upper parking lot, unless we get a good turn out then we can park in the more spacious lower lot across the road. Pm me if you plan on coming out

Passing through
Sandy,
I'd love to drop in for lunch....... but don't think I have enough time to get out of the airport....
I'm arriving from Terrace on Pacific Coastal at 10:00am and will be departing for Seattle on Air Canada at 11:30am. A little too short of a layover to escape the terminal area.
The weather is supposed to be nice in Vancouver tomorrow. I hope you guys have a good time.
Regards,
Mike

I was launched to work on a helicopter problem in Terrace, BC. I gathered equipment on Monday and left Phoenix on Tuesday. Airline reservations had about 12 hours lead time......$$$$$$.... wow. Good thing the company was paying for it.
We finished our work and the A/C is back in service this morning. I left on the 8:00 am flight out of Terrace for Seattle and my partner is on the 3:00 pm flight, headed for home.
Not much of a sightseeing tour..... saw the inside of a hangar and the inside of a hotel room.... hmmmmpppphhh. Maybe next time.

Wow Mike, I think I would have pee'd my pants if you had walked up to me at the restaurant. Call next time you have a few hours. The Flying Beaver is only on the south side of the YVR, no more than a few dollars taxi ride. Hope you make it home safe.
And you too Ray.
