July 25/08 Friday
Meet and Greet at cancam's - 6pm
- address in your welcome package
(for those staying at White Oaks we will leave at 5:30pm together)

July 26/08 Saturday
9am - run to niagara falls
2pm - tour Niagara on the Lake (shopping for those who like quaint shops)
6:30pm - Supper - leave White Oaks to go to "Betty's" for Supper

July 27/08 - Sunday
Niagara Corvette Club Car Show- 8am registration - 320 cars last year (75% vettes)

Ok folks this program is locked and loaded. I know the rooms seem expensive but during that time of the year in this area this is actually cheap. This hotel is close to everything and the rep is good friends of the president of the Corvette club and understands that we need a safe spot for our trucks! Trying to leave time for talking about R's.

Talked to the president from the vette club he says if we arrive together they will park us together. They look forward to seeing us.
Last year they had 320 vehicles (about 75% vettes)

Just called the joint. they don't have a clue about the SSR Fanatics? but I reserved the room anyway. They are looking for the block of 20 rooms said it hasn't made the update on their computers yet?

I had that problem when booking hotel rooms in the past....it took 5 days to get in their system too. Watching the thread when all is set up I'll e-mail the rest of the MI fanatics we haven't heard from

I made reservations yesterday afternoon. While speaking with them, the manager came and gave the receptionist the SSR info. At first the room fee was $255. After she talked with the manager, everything was ok and gave me the room for $155 plus $10 for use of pool, exercise equip,parking and internet.

Debbie and I have made our vacation plans for the year, so this is going to be a "squeeze in". We both have always wanted to see the Falls and not a better way to do it than with this bunch. I am not ready to book just yet, but it looks like if you have 20 rooms reserved I have a little bit of time. Sounds like a really great time and some great scenery, too. (Talking about the SSRs )

I will be at the Ambassador Bridge at 8am Friday July 25th.
(I understand the roads around there will be under construction for two years)

Anyone that wants to and can get there, we will hookup together on the Canadian side at the McDonalds parking lot.(It’s within site of leaving customs from the bridge)

We will leave McDonalds at 9:30 sharp!

We can travel 1 ½ hours to RM Restorations for a short 1 hour tour.
RM AUCTIONS

Back on the road for 1 hour, where we roll in to London for some vittles / gas, tire check.
(If you cross over with a full tank you can get to Niagara on it)

Then another hour to Niagara for rooms and Cancams place for 6pm

Sounds like a great idea to me. The only hold-up could be at the bridge. Guess we'll have to figure out a time to meet on "our" side and all try to get across prior to 9:30. Any idea how long the avaerage wait is that time of year (realizing things could change by then)?
