Ontario is it time yet?

Ontario is it time yet?

I had a small one day run a few years ago here in Essex County. We had some Ohio and Michigan fanatics show up to tour a couple car museums and a tropical garden/animal/amusement place. We cruised down to the Point Pelee Park.

Is it time to have another meet north of the boarder?

EDIT ... PLEASE SEE THIS THREAD ... Niagara Falls SSR Run - July 25-27/08

Good input Cam ...
Plan B … Ohio could do a lap around Lake Eire on way home.
Michigan could do a lap around Lake St. Clair.

Lets hear some more ideas over the next week or two.
We can get some more suggestions and then select the most popular agenda.

Hello ... step right up put your 2 cents in everyone.

Rebel, Sounds like a great idea depending on the date I would be in for it!
Plan "B" would be my preferance but either one sounds good.

I was approached this year by several members to do a New England Run and or Niagara Falls.....trying to pull in some from the surrounding areas too.

I am uncertain that I can participate due to some changes in our personal life. But I will get the word out for MI members when all is set in stone!

Sorry for the tardy reply, Key West for Christmas and New Year's has altered my daily schedule. Plan B looks good to me as long as it's in the middle of the month as I'm on the planning committee for a major car event in Toronto during the first 2 weeks of the month.

We would be pleased to have your SSR group attend our show this year. Our date is set at July 27 at the Reif Estate Winery on the Niagara Parkway just north of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Let us know what your agenda is for that weekend and perhaps we can do something jointly. In the past few years we have had an informal social the night before the show with Corvette owners who come from out of town, namely Sudbury and Ottawa.

As you may know, our show is open to all cars ( and trucks) and the total proceeds are donated to the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre.

Look forward to meeting with your group.

George Dalbergs - President, Niagara Corvette Club.

I know parking along the falls is nearly impossible.

But it would be very nice if a scout in his spare time could find a spot for a photo opportunity with the falls in the back ground.

We might need to have a camera man set up across the road and snap Trucks as they momentary pause in front of the falls, in that no parking zone.

Scout?

Been called a lot of things but long time since i was called a scout !

One small issue with the falls is you never know to till the day of where the mist is?! I quit going there as my rotten luck always has it on the road and getting my fresh wash job dirty. Mist is a 24/7 program as they never shut the falls off - only the lights !
I will scout out photo locations and post some in the next couple of weeks. we maybe can get a shot above the escarpment.

No Passport - No Problem !

[quote=BIG JIM;370439]Hope my Passport is good?

Big Jim thanks for the reminder on the passport as I had thought to mention this the oother day
For our American friends thinking of sliding across the border for the day or the weekend - NO PASSPORT is required to enter Canada or to return to the USA. This is only needed if you are coming in by plane into Canada.
