Yeah, and an SSR sold for $75,000 in Canada but $50,000 stateside... Funny thing is, I don't remember making 50% more than my American cousins However, a Tim Horton's coffee was ALWAYS more expensive in the US

...and on a completely different topic, my father is "living" in Victoria for the winter. He lives on his boat, found an open slip and stayed... Within sight of the Empress Hotel. If you happen to see a 42' Krogan, Pacific Sapphire, say HI! Apparently they liked the spot so much that they will return for next winter too.

in 2004 I bought my 1989 turbo trans am and paid 11,300 usd and cost me 15,600 cad, bought my 1994 trans am in 2007 paid 12,000 usd and cost 13,800 in cad ... it's amazing how much it costs to buy when the exchange is not close ..... 64 ... OUCH !!! indeed . I have the original window sticker for my and it's priced right at $80,000 ... I remember looking at a Silver 6 speed in 2005 and it was $85,000 I told the sales man they were on CRACK, and could I have some please !!! it sat there for over a year and they marked it down to $50,000 before it finally sold !!!

Turnheadz: hey that's only a hour away, we can be bullied in to a road trip in the with very little problem!!! SoCal seems like our second home to us too, we've been thinking about buying a place down there somewhere, instead of another RV.
That would be funny to meet you guys on SoCal as apposed to meeting in our own county !!!
we never get out your way, altho the wife has talked about going back to Victoria sometime soon, so you never know !!

sticker shock

indeed, the window sticker on my is over the top Fortunately we bought it in June '05. It was still band new, but the lower prices of the '05's brought mine down to $56,000. That seems like a huge savings but still the prices up here were outrageous
As for now they are a little better. That Synergy green Camaro we looked at in WA last month was going for $30,000 and up here our dealership said $34,000. So a difference of $4,000 even after bartering I'm sure.

Ughhhhhhhhhh . My interior chrome kit arrived today and like a kid at Christmas I tore thru the boxes only to find no shifter plate or knob . It turns out they are on backorder.
Hopefully they get some soon as it would look stupid having all chrome and a silver shifter and shifter plate , I thought the shifter plate was steel and I would get a local plater to chrome it but its plastic and no one around here does plastic .

I guess all I can do is wait and look at my interior sitting in their boxes till the last parts arrive
