Ok Marc. I will bow down and agree that they might get some more $ for a charity auction. I have seen where people pay ungodly amounts as a donation. The SSR in return would be secondary. But, just look at what sales have been. Ebay isn't selling. Dealers have units sitting for months, resale sucks, trade-ins stink. There was a signature series on Ebay a while back that only got to around $40K, never met the reserve.

Now if they were to do a RAFFLE (hear this GM??) and sell tickets for $100 apiece I would cough up the hundred. On 1000 tickets sold (usual # for this type of raffle) they would be guaranteed $100,000 for the charity. This would also open up donations on the sale to us that can't come up with the big bux.

Just think Maybe Danko would even have a shot at owning one.

except it will probably have way too many options.

As for raffles.....there have been a couple of groups who have tried these and failed to get enough tickets sold to even cover the invoice cost of the SSR. One extended their raffle a couple of months just trying to make it there. Of course the last saleable SSR would draw more money, but maybe they'd get lucky and the person that bought #2, #3, and #4 would buy the last one as well (he spent ~$370k for the first 3).

$100 a ticket out of 1000 ... I would think for the last sellable unit, they could sell 500 on this site alone. We are the connoisseurs of the SSR.

Question Badging ?

I wonder if they will do a badge like the signture series......with wording like....1 of 25,694 built , or 25,694 out of 25,694, or #25,694 Last Edition , or End of Series Run # 25, 694 ???? I don't know what the last VIN # will be , but you get my point.

Ditto 4 me 2. Being that I have 1 of the original 25 units produced, it should b ULTRVIOLET in the end as well.

Mayb with a special logo or detail but just the solid color.

Share your thoughts on what "should be" the last color for the last produced SSR.

I think is will be really bold... I vote for Aqua/Silver!!!

I think that it should be silver with a Lone Ranger's mask around the front headlights. Then someone could drive it out and shout "Hiyo, Silver away!" Ride off in a cloud of dust! Now that is going out in style.

How about solid white, with every colour they came in represented in a graphic swoosh/stripe/checks.... down the centre or sides.
And a special commemorative badge.

Best idea yet. Solid white with a black stripe down the middle and then each color represented on each side of that black stripe up the middle of the vehicle.

Last Color is ....

HINT: The last SSR produced will have one of the "optional" color codes /combinations as it's choice.
