Cloisonne type collector pins
There has been a rumor running around the Pacific area for a while that Tickledpink was having SSR pins made. I am here to tell you that they have arrived and are no longer a rumor. They are wonderful and available in 7 colors plus Black over Silver and Silver over Black. I was lucky enough to manage to get one of each and will post pictures tomorrow. They are roughly 1" square and picture the trucks from the head on view. The detail is great but difficult to photograph so hopefully I will be able to do it justice.
Sue tells me she plans to order another run and is hoping there will be enough demand for them to justify that. The price tag is $10 each or 2 for $15 including shipping and she is working to be able to offer them on the site as a dealer. Currently she is planning to offer them through SSR Club.com or PM requests.
Check back tomorrow for the pictures. Between now and then I am sure she would love to hear comments.

I saw the samples and concur with your review. I think I had the honour of making the first order . Expect to get my pins this week.

we all got a preview of the pins on our chelan trip and they are so nice i ordered 4 because they are sure to be collector items,,,so now we are just waiting for them to arrive,,our mail has to go through canada to get here so it's a bit slow...

These pictures are better than the ones I took and they still do not do the pins justice. The detail is amazing but when photographing it the bight silver flares with the light.

Your pins are being sent out as soon as your Order Forms arrive (and $$), so please let me know if you have to wait more than a week to get your pins !
The RUSH order of 500 is still a few weeks out...... boy, they flew out the door so fast I could hardly keep up !!

I must confess I have about 20 PINK ones that I have given to some of my very special friends............ this SSR family has become so wonderful, i wish I could afford to give every one of them a PINK SSR KISS from me!!!

just recieved our pins in the colony today,,it takes longer as they have to go through canada first where they decide if they are going to tax them or not,,well they came with no tax...
the pictures don't do them justice,,they really are finely detailed and guess what?,,,they couldn't be made in china...

Yes, what a nice relief to see they were indeed made in the US - no lead, no magnets and no small parts to swallow unless you've had a bit too much Canadian Ale!!!
Gee, I grew up with lead paint, magnets, mercury in a big jar and all that really good stuff - Kids today don't even know what it's like to go home with a board and a rusty nail stuck to the bottom of your foot - followed by a Tetnus shot that involved the doctor (if you even bothered to go to one, shoving a Q-tip like thing up the nail hole in your foot to clean it out) then hitting your hind end with an Elephant-Sized Needle full of stuff!!
It was a happy mail day today as Sue's pins arrived! They are fabulous and have a holding spot in my "Slingshot Shrine", waiting until their inaugural wearing!
