Ever offered on forum or EbaY?
I have seen ONE pewter figure on eBay - a couple years ago. A couple of the posters have surfaced - there are the signed/numbered posters - on eBay as well.\
Extensive searching on the internet and I have not found any others...

The above post is correct. They were given to us as thank you gifts for attending WDC 2004 coming out party for the first year of the SSR. The pewter SSR and poster along with some other SSR goodies were sent to us as a complete surprise after we arrived back home a couple weeks later! I think around around 8 of us SSR owners were invited, give or take a couple.
Check my gallery for some of the pictures taken that year. The limo my wife is standing in front of was also provided! The limo was stocked with water and soft drinks, no booze !!

Jeff has a great memory.
There were approx. 6 or our members that had been invited to the first Chevrolet SSR / WDC weekend back in August 2004. It was an awesome time where we had a chance to meet up with Rick Wagoner - GM's CEO, Wayne Cherry - VP of Design, Bob Walczyk - Chevrolet SSR Marketing Mgr., Glen Durmisevich - SSR designer, Ed C. Ivey - Retired SSR Program Mgr. and many many other great GM people who were part of the creation and execution of the SSR.

I bought two of the NUMBERED posters from the Chevrolet website LONG before I bought my SSR (the frame work cost 5 times the original poster cost of $40.00) - I bought a 3rd numbered poster from eBay (that I didn't frame) in 2004 & ended up trading it for the pewter item...

Hey Keith you made out like a bandit on that trade.
I don't recall what Big Jim paid for his on eBay but it was reported that early on one of those limited edition pewter SSRs went for over $1,200.00 on eBay.

I bought the one with the small chip on the corner of the base, I bought it for $ 76.00, I have since had it repaired, Only charged $ 15.00 to repair. It is number 430 out of 500
