Looking for 1:18 Silver SSR

Anyone know if Masito ever made a Non Concept 1:18 In silver with the top up. Did any manufacturer? Anyone on the forum have a silver for sale?

Thanks, Joe

Joe I found a Yellow one at Ocean State Job Lot.
I did not see a Silver there or I would have bought it.
I bought a (looks like) Pacific Blue Maisto yesterday on ebay.

Check out the surplus and dollar stores.

js73751:

I'm pretty certain that Maisto only made a silver (actually called pewter) 1:18 scale diecast model in the 2000 Concept SSR, with the top down, none with top up. So no silver 2004 SSR 1:18 scale models.....only the 1:25 scale, with top down. I have one of the concept models.

However, I have a friend who is an avid model builder. I bought an ultraviolet 1:18 scale diecast SSR model, gave him the paint code for ricochet silver, and he disassembled it and painted it for me. Turned out great! I have been meaning to start a thread on his custom model work, but have not yet gotten some good detailed photos put together. I will soon. If you're interested in getting an SSR model custom painted, send me a PM and I will give you his contact information.

By the way, on the 1:25 scale 2004 SSR diecast model with top down, you can use the top from a Monogram-Revell plastic model. That's what I did, and I had my friend paint it for me. It fits perfectly.
