Looking For Black Running Boards

I am in the market for black running boards for my 2006. There are only 2 colors still available from GM and black is not one of them. I really do not want to try and have a silver pair painted black by a body shop which has been suggested to me by several dealers. If you know where I can find some (complete with mounting brackets), please let me know.

don't know where you can find any but lots of owners have painted their OEM silver boards a color match for their truck and have been perfectly happy with them...that's probably what GM did anyway.

i painted mine black and i am very happy

Thanks for the advice guys, I just got through with the purchase of a silver set (still available thru GM) and had the local dealer paint them black for me. Worked out nicely (they look great) but essentially doubles the cost because you have to get the boards and then pay an additional $500 to get them painted. Good thing however is that the paint is warranted by GM as long as I own the vehicle, so hopefully the durability factor will not be an issue.
