I picked up one of those Matchbox SSR's, blue, at he Trade Show. He charged me a dollar for it, is that what it is worth? The little clear plastic container was in tact, not opened.

John all the SSR toys are worth whatever a buyer/collector wants to pay. You found a nice little collectible

I've been picking up the 1:64 scale SSRs with logos on them (SpiderMan, Nickelodeon, SuperMan, ScoobyDoo, Indy Pace Truck, etc)... and paying anywhere from $1 to $5, not counting shipping.

The only two that I keep losing on ebay, are the yellow "Tony's Pizza" one and the Red "Handy Manny" one.

There is a truly limited edition one, that was handed out at a Matchbox promo in Hershey PA, that I don't want to spend the money for.

The blue Matchbox SSR, completed sales on eBay, range from 99¢ to $2.99, shipping extra.

Don't know if you have Target stores in your area but I just picked up a two pack Matchbox set labeled as "EASTER CARS" that has the red Manny SSR and an Orange pickup of some type with tools and hoses in the back - $2.99. Probably similar to when they put ultra's in the Easter Eggs.
FORGOT TO SAY THESE WERE WITH THE EASTER DECORATIONS/TOYS - NOT IN THE TOY DEPT.

It appears it is not worth any more than I paid for it. So I will keep it and enjoy the view. Thank you you your comments, they helped.

No Jgrden, they aren't any more valuable than what you paid, other than the pure enjoyment of having it. Sorry. I really like having the small line-up of ones I have, that you can see if you peruse my gallery. Makes for a good display, and really catches the interest of my sons friends.

Excellent news HOGS! Yes, MI has Target stores, so you KNOW I will be prowling the Easter aisles of the (three) stores closest to me. THANK-YOU for the heads-up!

HOGS, the red Handy Manny SSR pack was right where you said I'd find it, thanks again. Now I can concentrate on tracking down the elusive yellow Tony's Pizza SSR (Hero City Matchbox #57 circa 2003)!

Here's a rare one, as far as I know, the only white SSR 1:64th I've seen;
