New Bright SSR new in box on ebay
I was surfing eBay and saw a New Bright 1:6 new in box with buy-it-now.It looks like its in CA and the shipping seems more reasonable than the last ones. I am NOT buying....this is a headsup
$325 for a NIB New Bright SSR is a pretty darned good deal. I have a lot more than that in my Slingshot New Bright. These are getting to be rare to non-existent nowadays. I hope someone here gets one if they want one.

Price has been changed, open bid now is $375 buy it now $425 for the blk & cream
Listing for Blue one has changed to the two-tone Red & Silver, what's going on...
Blue one has disappeared....
Kinda brings up a red flag on the seller to me...

It looks like they have been an eBay member for over 10 years but have only started selling this year. But, they have a 100% feedback going with a total of 23 positives so far. I think the seller is probably OK. A newbie seller that probably doesn't know she's sending up red flags. Maybe she's watching the interest here on the forum too.
Just got back home from picking up a very slightly used blue New Bright SSR.
It is in excellent condition and only cost me $35 CDN and a tank of gas to pick it up! ( And bought the wife dinner!)
Now all I have to do is find a full size one! Seriously looking for a 6spd hope I can get as good a deal.

In watching this seller's auctions from the get go....
That pertain to the SSR's R/C rigs that are for sale.... The seller keeps jacking the opening bid up and the buy it now bid up also. They all started out at $325.00 opening bid and had a buy it now of $375.00. Now look at what he has left and what it's priced at. I watched him jack the price up as they were sold. Sorry, I do not buy from snakes like this on E-Bay!
I've been racing/building R/C cars since the early 70's and I have a "very good friend" that will make a 30 thou Lexan body of a SSR. All's he needed was a "Plug" (that's R/C & SlotCar lingo for a body to make a mold from) well I got the "plug" today I'll go a do a look see at the hobby shop and find a nice "donner car" that the body can be mounted on and used by all of the wood be R/C SSR FANTICS. Besides, these bodies will be clear and can be painted to match your 1:1 rig to the "T". Give me a little time here ( I'm working on my 1:1 rig) but it's on.....
