Pace Car Metal Model in the box. Has any one ever seen one of these?

yes i have about 4 of them. Ive bought them from chevy dealers that i did inventorys at. Couldnt tell you who painted them.

My SSR:
The model is sold by Greenlight. Fair to assume the paint work was done by them.
The model is 1/25th. The scale should be printed on the end panel of the box.
I have 3 of them, still looking for a 1/18th scale version.
The real one was sold a week ago at McDorman's auction. I didn't buy it.

Painted at the Lansing Craft Center
I have, thru a friend, met a retired employee of the Lansing Craft Center. His last job before retiring was paint detail and touch-up on the SSR assembly line. During that period he painted several of these 1/24 metal models in the paint shop with the paint used in the touch up shop. If this is true (I am working with the guy to get some form of authentication) these are a rare item.
There is a UV and a Red and he wants to sell them. PM if you are interested.

My SSR:
Howard Kirchenbauer ised to do up models of pace car replica's. I have one of mine done as it as a Brickyard track vehicle. Howard has the contacts for all the correct logos in the right size, and also knows a lot about different model cars.vavoom
