For Sale SSR Coins
NOW REDUCED TO $10.00 EACH + SHIPPING AND HANDLING
In our Armed Services they are called “Challenge Coins,” in police departments a “Chief’s Coin,” and in private industry an “Employee Appreciation Coin.”
“SSR Coins”, Click on Coins Above, are 1 ¾ inches in diameter, die struck in black nickel with gold colored lettering, and covered in a clear epoxy for durability. SSR Coins are offered only in the basic colors at this time. (Two-tone colors will be offered in the future as a special order.)
Included with each coin are the rules for a “Coin Check” and the History of the original Challenge Coin which dates back to WWI. Only SSR Fanatic members will be offered this coin, so carry it with pride and of course, a smile.
Coin(s) were $15.00, now $10.00 each. Shipping and handling for all 50 states is $5.00, to Canada $6.00, and to Australia and Germany $7.50. Multiple coin shipments and shipping to other countries are at the current USPS First Class Mail rate for each locality + handling.
I accept PayPal, your personal checks, and money orders. Send me a PM with the number and color of the SSR Coin(s) desired. Please include your name, e-mail and mailing address. I will respond by sending you an invoice through PayPal or my mailing address for checks and money orders.

Reason: Reduction in price, color red
How are the coins packed, what kind of case do they come in and what is on the other side. Let me see if I understand shipping cost right, each coin is $15 + $5 shipping so if I want 4 coins the shipping will be $20?

Handling is part of shipping, which is envelopes, the History of a Challenge Coin and Rules for use of the coin (Insert), and travel to the post office (Gas).

Found these....
1. RULES:
A. The challenge is initiated by drawing your coin, holding it in the air by whatever means possible and state, scream, shout or otherwise verbally acknowledge that you are initiating a coin check. Another, but less vocal method is to firmly place it on the bar, table, or floor (this should produce an audible noise which can be easily heard by those being challenged, but try not to leave a permanent imprint). If you accidentally drop your coin and it makes an audible sound upon impact, then you have just "accidentally" initiated a coin check. (This is called paying the price for improper care of your coin.)
B. The response consists of all those persons being challenged drawing their coin in a like manner.
C. If you are challenged and are unable to properly respond, you must buy a round of drinks for the challenger and the group being challenged.
D. If everyone being challenged responds in the correct manner, the challenger must buy a round of drinks for all those people they challenged.
E. Failure to buy a round is a despicable crime and will require that you turn-in your Coin to the issuing agency.
2. WHEN - WHERE:
A. Coin checks are permitted, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE.
3. EXCEPTIONS:
A. There are no exceptions to the rules. They apply to those clothed or unclothed. At the time of the challenge you are permitted one step and an arms reach to locate your coin. If you still cannot reach it -- SORRY ABOUT THAT!
4. A COIN IS A COIN

I first saw these last Friday and they had been sent by an Austraian Army WO2 who runs our post office in Afghanistan. They are certainly pretty cool and knew exactly what they were on seeing this post. Our boys are swapping coins with the boys from USA in the land of sand. I shall look forward to receiving my SSR coins.
P.S. I doubt I will have to "shout" the bar here as no-one else has them. LOL
