Somewhere in my travels I saw a SSR toy music box which when activated it plays a tune and the top goes up and down
Have any of you seen this item and/or knows the source.

I think you saw it at my house. I got it from the back of an SSR (I think) at Laughlin. It did not have a box and I know nothing more about it. Maybe that will jog someone else's memory.

Mcvette2 (Carl) has a red one that he uses at shows. Looks like Blue Thunder has the source all scoped out for you.
In the photos above, it is the one sitting directly on the cargo cover. Unfortunately, a still photo doesn't capture the sound and action of the top. Someone needs to post a video.

This video was shot at the Laughlin Bay Marina during the Show and Shine Car Show - 3rd annual SSR River Run in Laughlin 26 January 2008.
This model actually runs around and when it bumps into something it backs up and goes a different direction. Carl has disabled that function on his red one in the video. Also, it is hard to see in the video, but the lights blink with the music.
I have several pm's and have doubled my order. I will contact all of you who have pm'd when they arrive with final cost including shipping to your location. Based on what I know now, it should be in the $15-$25 range.
I would love to have a red ssr music box if you still have some, please email me at england@bessi.net with my total, my zip is 65240. Thanks, Randy England 6467 ACR 126 Centralia, Mo 65240
