So is that titanium pen at the front of the line yet??
I have a dilemma. The rod that was sent was cut into six parts. The first four parts had to be cut a particular size to complete two pens, so two pens were completed the correct size. The last two are short by about an eighth inch. I need a tool to cut the end square and add a piece of something to compliment the total required size, OR make two more pens, each with a different material on the bottom (or top). The material can be anything - aluminum, acrylic (any color), bullet casing or wood.
So here I set trying to find a 1/8 inch carbide parting tool.
Oh, being the scientist I am sure that you know the only way to cut Titanium is with ice cubes and cold water.

I thought there was a high heat method of cutting Titanium as well. Used hear that one shouldn't have a titanium ring because if you injured your finger the ring would be hard to cut off.
John's Pens are Fantastic! I received my Black ebony one with a red band AND a lovely matching journal this week and just love them both! The pen writes as beautifully as it looks!!! Thanks John! Craftybeth

You heard right. It would take a cold, slow moving hack saw or a bolt cutter to snap it off.
