Yes, you can remove the chrome parts with a little work, I have done so. If I remember correctly the chrome parts are glued in or have plastic pins that were slightly melted on the back side.
I have never seen replacement parts, but if you wanted to repair it and paint them with more of a satin finish it might work. I agree with Jeff, it doesn't look too bad, I think it would be worth getting.
Good luck

Thanks--it didn't look too bad from the pictures. I'm thinking it shouldn't go as high as some of the previous ones even if it is

The satin finish would work since my
has satin (except for the wheels).

Just bid $187.50 and have it temporarily
Anyone else bidding on it? If so, I'll back off.

But if the other bidder is using a sniper, who's sniper wins? Guess it would be the one with the highest max bid?

You are correct, it still comes down to who has high bid. But with a snip bid your chances are greater to win.

It will go so quick you wont be able to refresh the page and the bid will end....
Hope whoever wants this put in a highest bid of $350 or more just to get it...
Think it will go for around $300, and to think I passed up three new ones for sale at $39.00 each back in 2003...
