'04 upgrade to LS2

Has anyone done this? What is involved?
Any idea of where to find engine and transmission?

Well it is a pretty easy upgrade if you have been reading the SSR 427 upgrade, You could even have the 5.3 resleveed to a 427 or more and put forged parts in it and have fun, The 5.3 is a great engine but the forged parts cost so much for it you can buy a LS2 crate for the cost of building the 5.3, The tranny would have to be upgraded to hold the horse power that you would put out, I don't know how many on here has a upgraded engine, I know they are two a 427 and a LS3 upgrade, As long as you have the money the sky is the limit, Hum a 572 big block with A BLOWER
