2005ssr6speed Thank You Thank You

2005SSR6SPEED ( JOE ) is one nice guy. Last night on his own time walked me threw the set up on my SSR, he's in calf, Iam in florida. How cool is that, a person can be so far away and work on your car, think Henry Ford thought of this. well I spin and leave rubber patchs hiting second gear, all shifts are crisp, throtle body reacts great no laging feeling. I am sure there is room for some more tweeking but I need to learn HP alot better. My T/C works as it should now. I still have to go out and check with another car to see if speed-o-meter is not 10 mph over still but, driving last night burning up a 1/2 tank of gas and a lot of rubber seems to be right on also. Joe is one of those people that truly gos out of his way for friends and those like myself he has never met. This is rare in this day n age. This just shows how people on here really help one another when asked. What makes our SSR's so great. ITS THE PEOPLE THAT OWN THEM. Well not to babble on any more. JOE thank you and I owe you one. Now if I could only find my dam keys lmao........................^5 JOE and thanks.......................Pasta Mike

It was great helping you out on your SSR last night. Keep me posted on the speedometer and we can try and figure this thing out. Does Anne have a 6 Speed?

Couldn't agree more

About how great Joe is to work with. It seems like he is always willing to stop what he's doing and help, or even just shoot the breeze. His knowledge of the supercharged SSR systems is awesome.

Cudos Joe, you're a real gentleman. Humble, patient and kind.......

Thanks.

Mike - I take that as a huge compliment coming from you. You always go out of your way for customers. Cudos to you also!!

HD - I hope I hit the speedometer correction on the head with your Automatic and will try the same with the 6 Speed of Anne's.

Speedo Check

Almost every hand-held GPS has the ability to calculate speed. Pretty simple, if you know someone who has one..... just take them for a ride. It doesn't get any more accurate than that........

Well hdfatboy31996 I see you have your tuner and a good tuner to help you with it, I know a friend of mine has a 05 GTO and he liked to get going in 1st. and nail it and then shift to 2nd. and see how much runner he could burn, I took my laptop over and we used it to tune his car and he took it out and got going and nailed it and the thing came around side ways with him, I think he is scared of it now, I wouldn't mind seeing a scan of your SSR sometimes, Not getting in on you and Joe's tunes just like to see scans
Take care

PS Joe single, Now how did you get out of it, I had a very good friend of 42 years that just passed away that was married 5 times to 3 women,

GPS's are the way to go. When I put the KDW2's on Penelope I didn't realize the speedo inaccuracies. Compared to indicated on the dash I was going 3 mph faster than indicated. Driving 80 on the Interstate, right at 10 over the limit, that 3 mph will have you on the side of the road in front of flashing blue lights.

Even if you have to borrow one, find out your speed, then you can compensate.

P/P

Peace
