Me too

I have a set of 4:56 I am putting in my "05 Auto Just waiting for the go ahead from Wester's to head out for install & tune. Remember your auto is a TORSEN REAR END and requires special gears to fit and work....
Good luck!

Everyone that has swapped gears seems to be very pleased, whether 4.10 or 4.56. I put 4.56's in my 6sp and a vast improvement over the 3.73's but until one drives and compares with the 4.10's how would they know what is the "best" swap? Depends on the driver preferences and habits also. With the 3.73's I just about didn't use 6th gear and now I find myself in 4th or possibly even 5th cruising around when I would have been in 3rd before. 4.10's might be the happy medium for city and highway casual driving but I am very content with the 4.56's.

I went to the 4.10's for a year then jumped to the 4.56's, big difference for me. It is a matter of personal taste though, not everyone wants the tail down , nose up feel when you nail it, you'll get that with the 4.56.

Was scheduled for this week, but he (Lyndon) is behind getting a new hoist installed that he needs for 'vette work. Hoping I get a go for next week... weather permitting!

I agree this is a personal decision as well....
My opinion is
03 -04 i would go with th 456 gears
05 -06 i would want the 410's

I say that only because you have the xtra HP with the 05 & 06

You should seriously consider whether your over gearing by putting 456 in the newer SSR.

Just my .02 worth.
