4.56 Heaven
Boy O Boy… what a day!! TommyB & hdflstf were the bad influence who encouraged me to get new gears… and all I can say is
THANK YOU!!!! YAHOOOOOO!!!!!
At just after 7:15am… top down… drove down to Huntington Beach (about an hour south of me) to J&S Gears… to get my 4.56 installed!!! (Got there before they opened at 8am, you do the math ) Real good guys…Got it done in about 2 ½ hours. Was instructed on proper break in period…. Drive half an hour… let it rest half an hour… drive half and hour & rest again for half an hour. And whatever I do not punch it or aggressively accelerate for the first 100 miles. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT WAS TO DO!!!
So off to Joe’s (2005SSR6speed) near the Carlsbad to tell my SSR computer about my gears & to stop sending me error messages… What an incredibly generous man… we talked and laughed while his computer & my R had their own conversation… Then the wonderful realization that I HAD driven 100 miles to get to Joe’s… so I could play on the way back home…
OMG!!!
Lets just say a two hour drive was a bit less… easily!!!!
Love Love Love it!!! What a difference!!
Thanks J&S, Thanks Joe, Thanks Art, Thanks Tommy!!!

I tell you what I like to do with those 4.56 gears.....get on the freeway, set the cruise control for 75,engine is turning about 2700 r.pm. and listen to the exhaust note out the pipes.Sounds wicked and makes people look with that "what the hell" look on the face.
I'll assume you had a great time at J&S gear.Is John nutts or what?

Much thanks to Joe for fixing you computer.
75-80 is cool...fabulous sound!!! The quiet of 90 is odd... but I like it! John was very cool!
