Back to the drag strip

Well my first time back to the drag strip, I filled it up with cheap gas and headed to the strip, Thought the cheap gas and the 90+ weather might help me out with traction, I guess it was the heat and there was a hard head wind but wasn't to many at the strip, I got 10 runs in, Can't get in the car yet, Still working on that but able to make some run in the SSR and don't feel to awful bad

Good to hear you're back out there. A little adrenaline rush is good for the soul. When you get the Grand National out there again I'm sure your adrenaline rush will be even better. My SSR ran 10's too. Too bad it was the 1/8 mile track!

Thanks and yes I am taking care of your GN matter of fact I am having new valve springs put on it with a alky kit this weekend hopefully, I haven't run it since I put the B.B. turbo and bigger injectors on, Should be fun, It has run a best of 11.17 at 120mph with the old setup, I was thinking of taking the roll bar out and putting the stock parts back on it but I might have some more racing in me, The SSR run awful even with the cheap gas and a weak tune I still couldn't get it off the line, I know a some of it is me being rusty, I couldn't keep from smoking the tires , The best I run was a 13.13 at 106 with a 1.9 60 ft., Had one .010 light but most were 2.++ and man was it hot, Take care
