hey greg , i got a ? i put the vette servo i got from you & i put the diablo-sport tuner in to correct for the 4.56 gears. now when i get on it , it will break the tires loose on the 1-2 shift, is this going to hurt my tranny over time?
The tuner probably has a feature that increases line pressure which is why the gear change is so much more abrubt than with just the addition of the servo. I don't see any reason that you would experience a shorter lifespan of your drivetrain components unless you drove it at wide open throtle every time you took off, in which case, driveline parts will not be the only thing you will be replacing
OMG, I picked my SSR up yesterday and I didn't want to go home...the shift is now like a real live performance vehicle...I was amazed...I even took the long way to work today..and I almost called in sick...best money I will ever spend I'm sure...the Chevy dealership technician got a huge kick out of it too...

Greg,
I thought i read some where that if you have 4:10's that it could hurt your tranny if the corvette servo was installed, is this correct?
I have 4:10's with joes tune would i benefit from the servo??
Thanks
Andy

That is not correct info, the rear end gears will have nothing to do with transmission operation. Your trans will benefit greatly from the addition of the servo both increasing band life and improving shift performance.

Recalibrations
Hey Greg,
Will this require any other mods to feel the changes? Computer need to
be recalibrated or anything? Hopefuly just pull a fuse or something like
w/MAF screen removal. Anything more will prob. be over my head.
Is price for servo more now from `07? Sounds like I really NEEEEEEEEED
to get 1.
All you guys out there gooffin with your transmissions should know that Greg is a good man and knows what he is talking about.
Thanks to Phoenix transmission and Greg, I'm in the posession of the sweetest shifting transmission I've ever owned.
I have one of Greg's servo's plus 4.56 gears and man does it grab the gears. None of you folks will be dissapointed in this mod no matter what gears you have! Truly makes my 04 slingshot yellow a slingshot when it hits the gears! Some day I think I'll get one of his stall convertors to complete the deal.
