cam question

Starting with a 5.3 along with a s/c, which LSA would work better if all of the other specs are very similiar. A 112 or a 115?
I asked two guys at Comp Cams and one said stay below 113 and the other said stay above 114.
It's only going to be used on the street.

114 to 116 is I think typical for one with a SC. Though duration will have an effect on what you can do. The big thing you are after is to minimize the overlap since a bunch of overlap will just let you blow right through the intake into the exhaust..

05 6 sp. with 4.56 gears, ZR1 clutch, Edelbrock intake, Lunati cam, Crane rockers, C6 modified pan

I believe both the ECM and the blower will be happier with the 115.

will make the low end much easier to live with that's for sure.

what kind of super charger will you be running? positive displacement/roots/screw or a centrifugal That will also make a difference.
