Coilovers are here finally

16 way adjustable compression/rebound.
Spring rate is adjustable by itself compared to the height which is the bottom mount so pretty much you set the preload and you can lift and lower as you want without messing with ride

also rear springs get pulled and you use the coilover in its place and adjustable like fronts

front $550 shipped
rear $550 shipped

this will bring the truck down up to 2 inches in front and 4 inches in back. Also Id recommend djm a arms for the front for alignment purposes.

here goes stock a arm vs djm

and here goes the horrible balljoint angle that happens to ssr/tbss when lowering i had a customers allready snap his balljoing

Here is a 1 inch drop over stock look at the balljoint angle here

after djm a arm install

you can talk to LEFT COAST 32 on here he can back up my claim about alignment and balljoint issues when lowering these trucks.

Shocks have bumpstops in them. if you look at this pic its the front shock by itself.

now in rear your stock bumpstops on the frame you just pull them out and cut them where the black line is.

any other question ask away

Are these TBSS or specific to the SSR? 16 way adjustable - what are the 16? Spring rate is adjustable? How is that done, aside from changing springs?

Not trying to be a PITA.. just want to know what I'd be getting into. THe compression side of the stock Bilsteins is terrible..

fits tbss/ssr perfectly front and rear. Same exact set up on both. 16 way adjustable goes from soft click 1 to very stiff click 16. when you do the preload on it will lift truck but also give a stiffer ride. Now on the bottom there are 2 mounts. You can lift and lower the truck and not affect the preload at all with those lower mounts which other coilover kits only way to lift or lower is by cranking down on the springs or unloosening the springs which affects the ride.

Trust me these things blow the bilsteins away. Ask any of the 60 plus tbss guys that have ordered them from me.

btw you can put the coilovers in and keep the truck at the same height as stock no probs just will handle a lot better.

Price is a huge difference over what the TBSS forum is paying you for the same parts ..... I see the rears are about the same but why the double price difference in the fronts?

Final Payment for Kbee coilovers. - TBSSOWNERS.com Forums - The #1 TrailblazerSS Dedicated Owners Forum

Half payments were due upon ordering then other half when order came in. Due to how people paid its better just to take the money up front so we didnt have to wait for the final people. So $550 cashiers check or paypal add 3%

Thanks for clearing that up, the parts seemed the same so I thought the prices should be similar for front and back. Now it makes sense.

How much time (avg guess) is involved for the "do-it-yourselfer" for the coils and the A arm?

The coilovers and a arms id say 2 to 2.5 hours. Pretty much basic swap and put in new parts. ON coilover will vary because someone will want it all the way down and be be fine with it and if you want it higher you just lift the truck so front end is hanging unloosen sway bar and then unloosen the 18mm nut/bolt that holds the bottom of the coilover to the lower mount and then you unloosen. That will take about 15 minutes. Its very easy to install.

The 16 way adjustment, are the compression and rebound independently adjustable?

No compression/rebound is adjustable by the knob at the same time just like the single qa1s.

Hmmm...we have quite a few who have done the 1" drop. I wonder how many are aware of this potential problem?
