I'm gonna pursue this a little...... If Tony is right, there are a lot of us that should be changing some hardware. I think it's time well spent.

I'll post more in a month or two when I have something more to say.

Thanks, Tony, for looking out for the cousins.....

The DJM Control Arms and K-Bee Coil-Overs are a very nice setup that can be dialed in to any height from raised to lowered very easily. I have a similar Coil-Over setup on my TrailBlazer SS and love the ability to adjust it to my liking. The TrailBlazer SS actually sets lower on the susension then an SSR does from the factory so you cant use the Coil-Overs that I do (they dont adjust high enough). The adjustment is still the same and the DJM Arms are a needed addition when lowering below 1". The added safety is worth every penny.

Mike - The New Rear Coil-Overs are out and getting great reviews from all the TrailBlazer SS owners. Whenever you are ready to start on your SSR I would love to help you out.

Thanks for the info....I didn't see that post. This thread was the first one I've seen about this ball joint issue.

I appreciate your input. Lowering was the next thing I was thinking of doing to my truck and I now know there's more to it than just swapping out the springs. To be honest, I'm thinking of just lowering the rear. During the tech session most had the rears done first. I thought the height was just right once the back was lowered to match the stock front height.

Well came across a issue. I have a customer with a SSR and lowering springs and had alignment issues so got the a arms and put them in and now the shop says its hitting the firewall??? Im gettin more pics and keeping you guys in the loop to see whats going on here. Im wondering if they put the arms on backwards or what exactly its hitting. Well get to the bottom of this shortly.
