ssssshhhhhhhhhh, be very quiet.

Seriously, this was going to get posted once Mike and myself were done with his PacBlu SSR. We will have plenty of pictures each evening as we wind down from working, I promise. Look for an update on the Pulley's and more this evening.

It's awkward to join a forum when you don't own that specific vehicle, but Joe said I should. I've got to say there's a lot of cool trucks here too. My name is Tom, and I'm the pulley guy on Joe's website. Joe and I met 3-4 years ago, and we have become best of friends. He's more anal than I am, but he probably would disagree with that. I've been manufacturing the 8 rib kits shown on his site, along with 6 & 8 rib blower pulleys, stainless panhard bar, quick change hub, and a few other goodies. One day Joe said I should do a 6 rib kit for the SSR guys. Cool by me! So this is what I came up with.

I have a small manufacturing company and been in business 15 years. Got into this when things were slow and needed something to keep the guys busy. The pulleys are kind of a hobby (and a stress reliever once in a while) for me. I have a '06 supercharged TBSS, '09 G8 GT, and a Silverado 1500 Z71. Married for 32 years to my lovely wife Joan, and have 2 great sons, one who works for me, and the other is finishing up his 4 year degree so he doesn't have to. I have 2 bad habits; one, I'm a work-a-holic, and two, I try to please everyone (which is why I am a work-a-holic). Joe will attest to that.

I thrive on making cool stuff for enthusiasts like yourselves, and Joe and I are open for suggestions too. We have fun doing it. I'll check into the colors in depth to see if we can closely match body paint as well.

So in closing, hello to everyone and thank you for your time.

Here is a pic of the standard 6 rib S/C kit with the HD tensioner pulley. A N/A version will be available as well, all available though Joe's site soon.

TMachine, welcome to the Forum!

I've known Joe for five years now, and he IS one of the two most anal people I know, the other would be Mike in AZ, who is at Joe's house as we speak, working to install your beautiful pulleys (and other things).

I'll need your pulleys in the near future for a little project I'm working on next.....

Thanks for introducing yourself, I'm sure you'll get some business through the SSR Fanatic Forum!

They look good but with that awful looking alternator it is hard to make anything look good under the hood

Hey Double-L,

The pulleys are great. Probably some of the best machine work I've seen in a long time.

As for the ugly alternator........ I've been working on a 165 amp alternator with a major manufacturer. It should out-perform the existing 145 am p unit in every corner of the spec sheet. Initially, it will look a lot like the OEM one, but there is a polished anodized unit coming in abouyt 6 months. Gotta get my supply chain all linked up......

Glad to see you here.

Mike

Tom (TMachine) is really the most anal of us all and we have proof in all of the great products he provides for us. Seriously I can not say enough good things about Tom's dedication to providing quality products and exceptional customer support! I am proud to be able to call him my friend!

Mike (Simple Engineering) is going to be offering the Pulleys on his site along with MagnaChargers as he is a dealer through us now. Mike and I have been having a blast working on his SSR along with a few small toasts of some New York Port Wine!

The day has been a little long and we promise there will be pictures posted before we turn in for the evening. We have a busy day that will be starting at 05:30 with a cup of coffee.

Done for the day

OK..... I'm done for the day.

Had my truck on the dyno this morning for a "before" run.

Did a bunch of ripping and tearing on my truck.

Did a bunch of cleaning in remote places on the truck.... (imagine that)

Spent great time with Joe, doing some "re-engineering" on the Magnuson installation kit.

Got some of the accessories mounted.

Two glasses of wonderful Port.

Curled up with my newest bit of bling........ and the pulleys that go with it.

Going back after it first thing in the morning.......

YEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAA THIS IS FUN.

Mikey

This color blue is probably the closest to the Blur, if it had just a touch of green in it.

The other standard colors for anodizing will be available. I will get with Tom and see if he has samples of the different colors for comparison.
