The Simple Engineering PacBlue SSR experienced an A/C Compressor failure on the way over from AZ. It was leaking the compressor oil from the o-rings on the manifold for the lines. He will be taking it in to have that fixed when he gets back.

Mike will be posting the dyno results and more pictures tomorrow for everyone.

We had a great install weekend. The Simple Engineering PacBlue SSR is looking great and running even better.

That sucks. He's going to need to windows up for the dust storm he's headed in to.

As for the ugly alternator........ I've been working on a 165 amp alternator with a major manufacturer. It should out-perform the existing 145 am p unit in every corner of the spec sheet. Initially, it will look a lot like the OEM one, but there is a polished anodized unit coming in abouyt 6 months. Gotta get my supply chain all linked up......

About that new alternator, finally a polished one that can make me proud to open my hood. I hold off doing too much under there because of that unsightly thing now. Looks like I will have to take a drive down to your place next spring and install a few things

He's about 100 miles from home with the windows cracked and about 109 degrees - ear plugs in and crunchin' ice!
