Well I have been racing for a lot of years but last night was a first, I was getting ready to go to the lanes and a friend come up and said I will be racing you in the finals, He is a good guy and a Vietnam veteran to, He has a nice looking Chevy Vaga with a small block Chevy, Well turns out the SSR run him in the first round and won and now the crazy starts, The next round the guy red lighted and the next round the SSR got a bye run and the next round another bye run and that put it in the finals and run a super sharp 09 Shelby and he was running good all night and cutting good lights, All stock and he was running 11.90's, Well he red lighted and the SSR won the finals, What is that better lucky than good, It was a bad night to run, To hot but a friend took a picture with his Nikon but took it just a hair to soon, He said man you are putting day light under the front tire on a 5,000 pound truck with that little motor, He put a video cam in the SSR and that really looked good, Would post a picture but says, Exceeds your quota by 1.38 MB, What a joke

A little taste of success and this racing stuff gets horribly addicting....
And about the most fun you can have with yer clothes on!

Think I found that out when I was in Jr. High, I flat tracked motorcycles till I was 16 and then run a M/P drag bike and then raced a dragster and then run the super stock for a couple years built by Mickey Thompson but now success or not it is just for the fun of it, I have the SSR running close to 10's and a 9 second Grand National if I turn the boost up, Just not as much fun as it use to be
Great running out there!! If you need help posting the video, e-mail it to me.

Nice going 2L!! When it's your day it seems so easy, but next time out it can sure change in a hurry. You run a trans. brake or delay box in yours, or foot braking it? Still have the 377 cu. in. combo in it?

''First thanks Joe for not only posting the video but for all the help and parts to''
No not running a tranny break or delay box, Just coming off the line at about 2,000 rpm's and it cuts .0 lights all night off the foot break and it picks the front tire up and goes, With the super charger you don't have to push it to hard off the line and you have to watch and not get on top the tires, The M&H's hook pretty good and the track is good most the time and yes still running the 377 but it is not tuned yet, The fuel air is all over the place, That 100 mm MAF is hard to tune, I have a guy that said he would put it on the dyno and tune the MAf but he seems to be full up, I have been told a couple of times I am running to fast for a car without a roll bar, No don't mind you posting the sound it has two Flowmaster 50's

What a cool video!
First time I watched it I was trying to figure out what was going on with all the noise of a burnout but you seemed to be backing up. Then I saw it was the Mustang! Not sure what exhaust you hear for the sound thread. What I hear is a great sounding supercharger.

Thanks it would be a lot of fun to get a lot of SSR's to the track, I have only seen one other one and people love to see them race
Great film 2L , I had planned on being there I was going to stop and spend some time in Anderson and look you up and go to Muncie with you but it didn't work out . You have got that SSR screaming and it looks great too . Are you still driving it over to the strip?

Yes it is just a driver, I drive it to and from the track, Are you from around here
Hey, those front tires aren't stock. What do you have on there?
Man I have had them on there for 3 years, Pretty sure they are the skinniest BF Goodrich I could find that were still the same hight as the stock ones, I was going to put some M&H fronts on but the ones I got work pretty good and with Joe's arms under it she handles like a dream
