Exclamation DiabloSport Predator U7193 Settings?

Well, I've used the forum search and Google search and found very little more recent than about 2008. As the latest revisions of the Predator were in 2009, I figured I'd poll the the group for some ideas...

With any luck my new Predator will meet me at the WDC Meet and Greet on Thursday From what I could glean from the old posts, there seems to be little gain in using the 92 Octane tune vs the 87 Octane tune. Given the premium for premium, I doubt I'll be springing for the Champagne Do I have other options available "out of the box"?

If I stick with the 87 tune, what other tweaks should I consider? I have read about the torque management... Is that taken care of with the 87 tune, or do I have to manually disable it?

I'm not looking to pull the fastest ET at the local (not very) track (yeah, like that would happen)... Just looking to wake the truck up and improve drive-ability. Seat-Of-The-Pants improvements more than quantifiable ones? 4.56's are on my wish-list. That was one reason for choosing the Diablo. It is capable of doing the speedo calibration...

Blackie's got my money now, so there's NO GOING BACK

i put the diablo in mine right after the 4.56 gears, mainly to correct the speedo, i noticed right away the differance in mine, the exhaust sound was louder, the cooling fans come on earlier , the shift points are firmer, i can break the rear tires loose on the 1st to 2nd shift!!
overall i'm happy with my set-up, next is a blower!!

Did you use the 87 or the 92 octane? Did you modify the settings at all?

Doing my best to be a pain in the arse

Talking 91 Octane Performance Tune

I put the 91 Octane Performance Tune on my 2005 and love it. I didn't see a 92 octane tune listed on mine nor an 87 octane tune.

I haven't checked to see if the speed limiter was changed or not. I know the Predator allows you to set just about anything if you want to.

The 91 octane tune renewed my "PermaGrin" however.

DDM! The programmer for yours is different. The LS2s use the U7191 and since they require premium to begin with, DiabloSport may not have been able to do an 87 Octane version...

Thanks! I guess I'll just fire in that tune and see how it goes
