Just took out my addco put the djm bar in and few differences between the 2.
1) djms bar clears axle better
2) djms bar is adjustable
3) djms bar is shorter less twist
4) djms bar doesn't move at all from side to side do to the tabs being welded on the bar.
Cornering at the stiffest setting is much better with the DJM rear bar even over the addco I had in before. Glad we could bring this to the SSR/TB Community. If you have any questions just hollar back

I understand 1, 3 & 4 but I don't understand how #2 works for street use. Care to explain that for us. Thanks.
the bar has 2 settings on it. ie hole locations with the actual placing of the hole closer to the bend of the bar makes it handle better and less twist.

Hi can you tell me what material the bar is made from, and if hollow or solid, and also if there has been any heat treating of the bar? Also what is the thickness of the Front Bar and the Rear Bar.
Am I to understand that you consider this to be an adjustable bar based on having two different mounting holes to choose from? Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Scott

PS- One of the statements above says "Less twist" how do you determine the torsional force or resistance of your bar over stock or any aftermarket bar?

they didnt test fit it on a ssr thats the only reason but I have. Also im the only one that has and sells the bars the next batch of 50 which is out next week all belong to me and so far about 30 bars have been sold.
if you look at the latest street trucks magazine for djm they are now using my truck as their main add and in the write up of the rear bar they use me as a source for the parts. Thanks again to mike and mark there for making that happen for me.

thats jeff not mark or mike. If you call mike there say you have a ssr and tony (trailblazer guy said it works he will say just get it from me since Ive done so many ssrs. I've already test fitted the bar on 3 ssrs and it works. Any questions feel free to contact me at tony@tbssowners.com
the rear suspension is the same on a ssr as a tbss. NOthing different except the ssr has springs tbss has airbags.
i've been using the djm a arm kits on the ssrs and rear springs/shocks for over 7 years now. There is modifications in front that need to be done (if you read members truck "blackie" here thats another truck I did) to get the front upper a arms to work since the fenderwells are shallow but other than that nothing else. Lower mount fits right on. Truck drops 2 inches and shock stroke is not changed since the djm lower mounts are shorter which inturn lowers the truck.
usually on front of customers trucks I use the kw coilovers or kbee coilovers or the belltech drop struts. I do not touch drop springs since the truck handles and rides better with stock springs mated to the belltech lowering struts then using aftermarket springs on stock struts.
