Slowhawk: The place that gets tricky on the large diameter dual exhausts is getting around that rear axle without having to crimp the tubing anywhere.

It's pretty easy everywhere else, and you can run both mufflers easily down the passenger side of the chassis, away from the driver side where the gas tank is. If the vehicle is a STOCK height (not lowered) SSR, should be no big problems except that tricky axle area.

One other thing: the TIPS of the two pipes will melt the rear fascia if they are not reasonably centered and double walled. We recycled the stock tips for my own SSR.

The trick with the FAST intake manifold might be getting the throttle body / bellows / mass aiflow sensor assembly high enough to clear the radiator assembly and radiator hose. I think that's WHY GM used that truck manifold on the SSR. You might need to make some mods . . .

I7ll be looking forward to that gearing data. THAT will be very helpful to people, especially those trying to figure out what happened to some of the horses they expected!

Slowhawk: Have you found the before and after dyno charts for the geraing changes?

If so, can you email the raw files to me at

JimGnitecki@msn.com

I have the Dynojet software, and can then display them in multiple axes and scales. This could finally provide the quantitative data guys here have been looking for.

Jim The lower numbers are with 3.73's. before the 4.56's cam and headers went in. The higher numbers are what the truck put down after everything was done.

Slowhawk: So you do NOT have before and after data showing the effects of the gearing change ALONE?
