Dyno results for my Magnacharged SSR

So I finally took it to this place to get it tested. Awesome place for you Chicago guys (Street Stuff in 633 Addison Rd in Addison 630-832-3773, $90 for two runs).

Rear Wheel data:

Run 1

Standard 328.42 HP 354.36 TQ
SAE corrected (whatever that means) 321.15 HP 346.53 TQ

Run2

Standard 332.89 HP 354.07 TQ
SAE corrected (whatever that means) 325.66 HP 346.38 TQ

questions:

1- How does it look? Good? Bad?

2- What is this SAE correction?

3- My guy wants to do headers next. Do you recommend it? How much extra power?

4- How much do you think total engine HP is? 20% more? My guy says more like 30% more since it is a heavy truck and a long drive shaft?

Here are the graphs:

Graph to come later, scanner is acting up.

Well for what you are running it looks pretty good, Super chargers love a good breathing engine, I always looked at my total hp at what it put to the ground, I have a few things done to my 04 and it is puting out right at 500 ft of torque at the rear wheels on pump gas, Not bad for a 5.3, On the SAE correcion, Will be faster to read his than me try and type it

1. Not bad for a 5.3. Plots would help..

2. SAE - adjusts the data to a standard set of conditons so they are more comparable to other data.

3. Headers - touch call. They should help a bit. Exhaust system and retune would be needed to see tha maximum benefit. Try a search for dyno results and headers. Jim Gnitecki has written quite a bit on those topics.

4. I recall losses run closer to 15%. Weight doesn't have that big an effect. He might be thinking about getting the SSR to move as opposed to sitting on the dyno, but that is a physics problem not affecting the horsepower and torque the engine produces.

I have an 03 the Dyno results were as follows: RWHP=420 Torque=390
I have made the following Mods.
Magnacharger,competition cam,dynatech long headers.flowmaster exhaust.456gears.Wester tune,K&N cool air system.
Hope this helps, not sure you get alot from headers alone.
GIG'emSSR Mine is also red & I think that another 15-20H.P.

I forgot to add that I also have the Pheonix tranny PT4L65ESX with a 3000 stall converter. As you increase your horsepower sooner or later you exceed the capibilty of the stock tranny. GIG'emSSR

I added the graphs.

I think you were sold a lemon, my red color adds at least 50HP.
