My SSR: '06 Screamin' Redline Red Vin # 23025 3SS Born Dec, 4, 2005 , Chrome package, gauges
Have had my '06 a tad over a year (bought her just before last year's WDC) and just turned 30,000 ( a low mileage year for me).
Happy to report, for the benefit of the SSR bashers, NOT ONE problem with her, whatsoever ! !
A few tiny rock chips and I scuffed one rim a bit on a curb. Otherwise GOOD AS NEW.
(almost forgot the windshield nick on route 66)

Well its not mine! Its not even 2,000 miles yet.I'm thinking of storing it for a while so it'll have the least amount of miles of any SSR. What's your opinion?
I'm kinda waitng for an El Camno to emerge from down under.

There are other people who have bought SSRs and put them on blocks right away...meaning less than 100 miles.
The SSRs that will have any value are the Signature Series ones.
One guy bought #2, #3 and #4. I think he paid ~$370,000 for all three.

YAHOOOOOO.... my daily driver hits 20,000 this weekend!
Only 20k for a daily driver? I only drive for fun and I got 21k on mine (2 power tours and near monthly chocolate runs will do that)! You must not have to drive very far for work!
However, even combining both of my trucks, I still haven't equated WOW's total mileage!! It's taken me 7 years to hit 100k in my truck (well, I'm actually not quite there yet - 98k and change).

5 blocks to work... what can I say... commute is good.. no traffic!

First light out
I've just had to replace my first bulb, the rear brake light after 126,000 miles.
It may have been caused by a cracked lens let some water in....but I think that's pretty darn good for a bulb.
Once the truck was on a lift, you just reach in pull out the old bulb in pop in the new one...about 20 seconds each.
(It was too cold and wet to try and get in there on the driveway, so I drove to nearest garage.)
How did I know the brake light was out? Left turn signal was normal and the right turn signal flashed twice as fast as normal...

Big Jim,
I only purchased mine 6 months ago at 17k and just turned over 46K on the way back to the dealer this morning to have the spedometer replaced, by this time next year I'll be pushing 95k so I may catch him first.

John: I may never catch up to you but I sure hope that you keep accumulating those trouble free miles! Your track record of maintenance is a testament to the fine quality of these babies we love so much! I now have 55K miles and still drive it evey day too. Have replaced numerous bulbs, but no major stuff this past year, other than a new battery. See you at Maggie Valley!

It looks like I'm going to replace my transmission fluid after 40,000 miles this time...it's a little dirty.
So you in MV!

John, I've had 3 cooling fans, 2 ac controls and 3 sets of tires. I just ordered
Mike's cooling fan last week because my oem was acting up again. Already have the aux fan and tranny cooler, Mike"s air dam and LST struts frt and rear. Still have original brake pads and spark plugs.
Location: moving to Everett WA within next month or so from Bellevue Wa

We have about 112,000 miles on ours and we have had the following items replaced:
New fuse block and computer chip
New stepper motors in speedometer
fixed coolant leak (under warranty)
driver door handle (under warranty)
rebuilt transmission (approximately 90,000 miles was serviced 4 times)
new brakes at about 48,000 miles
Had 60,000 mile service serviced transmission, oil change, injector cleaner into manifold, and no plugs or wires $1100 plus dollars.
Had transmission service again at about 85,000, new plug wires, cleaned air intake, new air filter, checked computer, new rear end fluid, removed injectors and cleaned them. Cost about 2,000 plus.
About 100 miles later fuse block burned out and fried computer chip, lost use of SSR for three months and then about 1 to 2000 miles later lost planetary cluster in transmission.
Stepper motors finally gave out about 2,000 miles after that, could never get GM to repair as they always worked when I took it in.
I think the ignition switch is about to go out at 112,000 miles.
The good news is the engine is awesome and runs like it was brand new, last tires are doing better than the factory tires and it averages 15.9 miles per gallon.
