Question Five lug hubs

Has anyone changed out their front hubs for five lug wheels? If so what did the hub come from?

5 Lug Rotors and Axles

I've emailed Rick Bottoms several occasions asking if he would be willing to provide machined front and rear rotors and front hubs and rear axles, but never got a reply, except to purchase his SEMA vehicle that had them already installed.

Very disappointing Chevrolet chose to make the change from 5 lug to 6 especially for a "street rod".

Haven't found wheels I like yet.
Would love to install some American Racing Torque Thrust II's or a set of Coy's, Budniks or Fooses.

Maybe some day someone will find factory crossover part numbers for bolt on swaps, but so far, nothing has surfaced.

Happy Holidays to all of the Fanatics!

I did some research a while ago for another member. You can order the brake rotors from several companies with the 5 on 4 3/4" pattern and just have a new set of front hubs filled and redrilled. For the rear you can order new hardened axels and have the pattern you want drilled. This way you could bolt it all together in a weekend once you have everything there.

The estimate would be about $1000.00 total if you do all the legs work yourself. The big cost will be the new wheels and tires.
