Smile Help in Orlando

Hello everyone; I have a few questions. I recently purchased an 05 red auto. I would like to install a supercharger. Does anyone know of a good place in central Florida to have the transmission beefed up? Does anyone other than Magna charger make a kit for the SSR. Are there any members in Orlando who like working on their Cars and would like to get together?
I have really enjoyed reading the forum the last several days.
Thanks. Cleve in Orlando.

Cleave,
Welcome from one of the SoCal Nuts. As you can guess I am from the other side of the country. We have these things called Tech Sessions and they are a great way for a bunch to get together and get a lot done on a lot of vehicles for little labor cash. The Florida group and the Southwest (California & AZ) seem to be the best at doing this so you are well located and I am sure those around you will jump right in. You bought a truck but you got a family.

Edelbrock has a new low profile Super Charger with dual Coolers. I saw it at the Famoso Drag Strip in Bakersfield Ca. It really looks sharp.

Keep an eye on the Florida Forum. Most of our events get posted there. You might want to get signed up for our Annual Rally. We are driving laps around Daytona Speedway this year.

Welcome aboard

Wink

Cleve Welcome-

If you want performace you will need a professional computer tuner, may I recommend Jermony Formato (a member of the forum) "JFormato" he is located in Lutz, FL 33558, (cellph 813--495-8778) he has tuned my SSR and many, many more - to the way I wanted, he is super.Fasterproms Independent LSX tuner & Porter for GM Vehicles.

Since he tunes SSRs & Corvettes all over FL & the East Coast, you might want a bit of his knowledge about installers, etc. I am assuming you desire a SuperCharger?, maybe 4.10 or 4.56 gears?, larger brakes? and transmission work?.

On your way to Lutz, FL I would also recommend that you stop and talk with Lonnie Bridges at SinisterKustoms.com in Plant City (cellph 813-625-4457) also a member of the forum. Lonnie will help and/or guide you to where you will get the best results on the mods on your SSR.

Lonnie will be beefing up my 6-speed soon with a new stronger LS7 Clutch.
You may want to do Jermony's tune now, and enjoy your SSR even more, better performance and shifting (no delays), before/and after the supercharger, etc.

Don't forget to visit the florida forum for events.
and the National forum for the Key Run 2012

Again WELCOME - enjoy your new PermaGrin and the Fanatics that come with the purchase.
Call or PM me anytime-

Welcome and you can get carried away, When I put a super charger on my 04 it was a blast, Like a frog the way it jumped through the gears, Then it run like it looked and even got better gas mileage if I could stay out of it but just to much fun, You can do so much to make them run
