Smile Kooks 1 7/8 headers installed

Went to my friends shop, put my truck on the lift at 6:30 got all the tools out and started at 7. Started by cutting the cats out, big help there. My friend unbolted started, took off collectors, and unbolted the old headers. Removed the overflow took out spark plug wires and plugs. We fought the passenger side tooth and nail. Finally got it in bolted some bolts inplace. Took x member and crossmember off . Marked top and bottom on steering joint. Slid driver side right in. Bolted headers up, motor mounts back and new y pipe and high flow cats. Put in 02'sensors and fired it up , had a little leak in 1 of the straps turned it got it in place tightened it back up and fired it back up. Took it for a spin and wow , you can feel a difference from 2000 Rpms on. It really pins you to the seat. It really feels good with my cam and yank 3000. Picked up tools at 2:49 on the dot. 1200 $ for the kit but, priceless the time I spent with my friends. Thanks Rob and Carlos. Next a Maggie?

I'll try to post some pics if I can figure out how hehe. No bloody knuckles, no tools throw. Actually the guy that did it said "this was easy compared to his stall converter". I do have some questions just to make sure everything is running good , smell from fingerprints and oil gone. No 02 sensors popped up but, I do have a dyno tune , should I go back and get it tuned I haven't gotten it tuned since the cam. Since then I added the yank tt 3000 and the headers. It's pretty quick for what I have done my next will be 4.30 gears with a true duel exhaust to help breathe then a Maggie.

Cool CONGRATS on the install

Not being a paying member you can't upload directly. You can however use a posted link to an outside source like Photobucket. Take video and upload it to YouTube so we can all hear it and see it

Can't wait to see the pix!
