MP112 to MP122HH Exchange Program

I have two Silver MP122HH upgrades in stock ready to ship for this program.

This program will include everything needed for the Exchange of your MP112 to a MP122HH. I have 2 built in stock, I will take a credit card and deposit. Your deposit will be refunded when the MP112 arrives back at Magnuson for re-manufacture. This is all dependant on the interest, I will be out the cost of 2 MP122HH MagnaChargers for the swap program.

This build will produce between 8-10 psi of boost depending on exhaust and other modifications with the 3.2 pulley on the front.

Silver MP122HH Exchange Cost - $2750.00 plus shipping and deposit on MP112

Silver MP122HH
1 to 1 Drive with 3.2 Front Pulley
42 lb injectors (60 lbs by request $400.00 extra)
Shortened SuperCharger Inlet

I will send you the MP122HH so you can do the swap and then put the MP112 in the same shipping box and send it back to Magnuson with an RA Number from me. The inlets need to be shorter because of the added length of the MP122HH. The throttle body will not bolt on with the standard inlet because the throttle body will contact the front bearing carrier for the jack-shaft.

The parts you will need to swap over from the MP112 to the MP122HH are:

Fuel Line Manifold (drivers side block that fuel line connects to)
IAT Sensor (passenger side rear on intake)
MAP Sensor (passenger side rear on intake)
Retaining Bolts from the inlet on the MP112
Send the MP112 Inlet to me for modification for other members

Give me a call with any questions.
Joe (760) 522-8669

My rear belt on my super charger is starting to show some threads... should this be a cause for great concern? How hard is it to change it?

Joe - you know my build - what will the swap do for me besides push the stock lower end to the limit?

Also, could you PM me the cost for a complete purchase, assuming I sell my 112 to, say, Larry?

I would not recommend service on the rear belt until around 100,000 miles when the service is due. The belt can be serviced sooner if you are getting any visual signs of cracking.

The MP122HH would provide more volume at the same boost levels you are running now. If you keep it at 8 psi of boost then it would be no harder on the bottom end.

Hi Joe ,
Iv'e missed something, what is the exchange program all about? Is there a problem with the mp112s'? Are you absorbing the cost of the unit.Is the charge just for a refundable core charge? Please let me know. crgporter@comcast.net

The exchange program is established to upgrade a MP112 to a MP122HH. This program is meant to give current customers the chance to increase the size of the Supercharger to fit the build of their SSR. Say you want to build a forged stroker engine and push more boost. Then you would contact me and I would build an MP122HH for the needs of your engine and your requested boost levels. The exchange works because it makes it cheaper for you to do an exchange of your MP112 then to purchase another MagnaCharger and sell your current MP112. I use as much as possible from your old MP112 to build a MP122HH for the next customer. This cuts cost to the customer and reduces the down time because I ship you a MP122HH before you even remove your MP112.
