Well I took a very fast drive out thru the Cane Fields on Hansen Road. I drove out past the Sugar Mill, over to Hana HWY to cut over to the back side of the airport, around the newly extended runway, up & down some hills, thru the twisties not really represented all that well on any map. Got some nice air once (full front suspension travel) and I have to say the truck rides and handles better, less squeaks and bumps.
5 minute install and for $8 bucks and the $5 for the 2 bolts, not including the S&H, it is well worth the $$$ !
Part# 15752337 A Big Thanks to CHICK and to RSSRTOY for all the info and assistance

Didn't Grab Any Air
That was my impression also Mike. I didn't grab any air, but I did have some fun on the twisties and more than a few rotaries. Some times those little things that appear to be so simple can surprise you with the results - Glad to be a help to such a Fantastic Group ! I have been the beneficiary of a lot of ideas from the people in this club and it feels good that I have been able to contribute to our knowledge base on the SSR.

Cross member = Round bar stock, both ends flat, hole in each flat end for the bolt to go thru. The frame has the nuts already welded in place, follow the rear door edge down to the frame and there they are on both sides. If I can help any further, please give me a call.

It appears that GM used that brace on 02-08 Trailblazer and other SUVs. It is a brace that attaches to both frame rails with one bolt in each end. Use 10mm by 1.5 by 30mm bolts to attach it. I'm sorry but I can't cut and paste a picture from the GM catalog. Any dealer can order the part because it is in stock across the country.

Odd......
Maui Mike,
I just went out and looked at my '06..... It already has a brace there. There is also a second set of holes about 1.5" forward of the existing brace that looks like it could use a second brace....... Hmmmmmm.......
Was yours missing the brace altogether, or did you add a second one?
Mike

I think i got better results with this.
Don't know about 03 or 04, but 05 and 06 have two mounting frame nuts on each side, about 2 1/4" from each other. The crossmember is mounted to one set of mounting nuts, the other set are for additional crossmember everyone is talking about. The following is what i did.
Bought a flat piece of aluminum 42"L x 4"W x 1/4".
Took off existing crossmember.
Drilled 4 holes in aluminum.
I then reattached the crossmember on top of aluminum.
I then added second crossmember on top of aluminum.
