I was out testing the shift management where I am pulling 15 degrees of timing between shift to try and gain traction. I still cannot go WOT through the shifts without it smoking the tires. The first video is me trying to go WOT through the shift and the second video is feathering the gas through the shifts .

You might as well throw first gear away.. Sounds and runs great.
But it sure is fun!!!!! I just hate having to take power away!!!!!!!

It is running great I just need some traction so I can stay into it throughout the run. I am going to be getting a set of drag radials and some stickier street tires. These GoodYear tires have nothing left in them right now.

did you mean your goodyears did not have anything left ON them rather than IN them ?
The Stock Goodyears only have 2300 miles on them.

Do you have a write up somewhere on the engine build?
What cam are you running?
112H blower?
How much boost?
Thanks.
I have the regular 112 MagnaCharger at 8-8.5 psi of boost. It is also breathing through the stock cam and heads right now.
The short block is a .010 over-bore LS2 with Forged and Coated Mahle Pistons w/File Fit Rings for running about 15psi of boost. The Connecting Rods are Forged Eagle that have been machined. I have all this rotated by a stock LS2 Crank. This turns out to be 370 cubic inch and has 11 to 1 compression. All the Main, Rod and Head Studs are all ARP Fasteners.
The next round of modifications will be a Built Set of L92 Heads and a Cam that is designed to work with the MagnaCharger. We are going to shoot for around 700RWHP.
The Exhaust is Kook's 1 7/8" Headers with a True Dual 3" system w/High Flow Cats.
The Transmission and Torque Converter are built with all the parts from Greg at Phoenix Transmission.

Mike-
In reading one of the other threads which you started "Comparative Blower"
tests would it help to use a larger blower like the 112H or 122H knowing that you would lose some bottom end power but perhaps pick up some traction?
When I used to mess around with 6 and 871 Roots type blowers it seemed like we were always having to try to find ways to kill off the bottom end torque somehow on street vehicles to get any type of traction. Another thing we used to do was use a numerically lower gear ratio in rear end which helped kill off torque but would make the vehicle mile per hour higher when we raced them.
Just thinking out loud!! What are your thoughts?(Your really going to have a problem with 700 Rwhp!!!)
What is so nice about the new computers is that you could use the timing table to remove a lot of power down low to gain traction. We also have torque management that we can use now along with traction control.
Your assumption on the larger blower with less torque down low would definitely help the same way it helped with the 6-71 and 8-71 Roots Type Blowers. The change in gear ratio's would also be the same.
I plan to run a set of drag radials for the strip and some much better tires for the street here real soon. I will have to dial in 2 different tunes one for the street and one for the strip with 700 RWHP on tap.

what do you think of E85 for the 105 octane rating?
I would not use the E85 in anything except a flex fuel vehicle.
