New transmission from Greg Ducato

Put the R on the lift at 8:30 this morning and backed it out of the garage at 3:00 this afternoon. Took it for a test drive. Perfect. Greg Ducato built me an awesome transmission. The 2800 stall torque converter was exactly what I needed. Greg told me he would build me a tranny and converter that I would be satisfied with. Did he ever. I am completely satisfied. The R has come to life. I was told here on the forum that Greg Ducato was the man to build me a tranny. I totally agree. The R will burn rubber all through 1st gear from a dead stop. The converter does not affect the driveability unless you stand on it. Greg, you're the man.

Congradulations on the new tranny! Yes Greg is the trans man! He fixed me up with a convertor and servo setup for mine.

Do you use a transmission cooler with your setup? Thanks guys. I'm happy to have my R back on the road-better than ever.

I am installing one whe I install the convertor and yes you need one with a higher stall convertor. You can get a kit from Mike in Az or his website Simple Engineering

The beauty of this forum are the quality people. Greg gets recommended and the customer gets exactly what they wanted. A lot of business' should take lessons from Greg D.

Sounds good, From talking with Greg through the years he knows what he is talking about, Most people have no ideal what a good built tranny will do for their SSR, Almost the same feel as when you put the super charger on and the peace of mind that it is so much stronger, I run the biggest cooler I could fit on mine Have fun
