Still running GFG KDW NT, and very happy with the stickiness and handling of a summer ultra high performance tread. I actually wore out a front tire for a change!
Just switched my GY's out on my for Toyo ST II's in the rear and went with the Toyo T1R in the front.. I was all over the road before now it's going where I point it!! 255/40/19 front and 295/45/20's on the back for that awesome rake!! Drive on SSR Fanatics!!

What effect did it have on your speedometer reading with the different size tires on the rear (70 mph highway speed)? Thanks

Original goodyears are weak, went to goodrich kdw, $1300 a set felt good but good for only 15000 miles. Went to general uhp, $800, drive great, quiet, last a long time. My .02

I got 35,000 on my KDW NT on the fronts, and 48,000 on the rears, but they were smooth in the middle (great for fast starts, but lousy for braking- go figure).

I have the 295/40 on the rear. OEM GY's front

I got the Toyo tires too, 295/40 R20 on the rear and I don't see any difference when I go by the stationary radar machine that has the speed info blinking at you.
Review the photos and you will see the center worn out of the Goodyears product that came on the rear of the SSR. Sometimes having a stick shift will wear out the tires a bit faster.....
I always wanted Toyos and now I have them. After Richard put 37 lbs. of air in them they bounce all over hell and back on these mountain roads. I am going back to Bridgestones as soon as these wear out. Trouble is, they aren't wearing.
These tires beg to be back in Texas.
stepped up to the plate yesterday, michelen 275/45r19,,,,, 315/35r 20. what difference from 2 sets of goodyears took alot of the cowl shake away, and emptied my wallet. jim austin
I also went with the NITTO Invo's Wow what a defference. And also purchased them from Discount Tire..They don't usually stock them so I had to wait 5 days for them, But well worth the wait.I also found out that no one stocks tires for the SSR' s you generally have to wait for them no matter what tire you choose. I also found out that Discount tire will beat any price you can get on any tire evan off the Internet. I found the cheapest price I could find with free shipping and took a copy to discount tire and they beat it by 10%, but they charged me for mounting and ballance (free lifetime) to ballance after. the charge for mounting and ballance took care of the 10% discount but I still saved alot of money. I got the road hazzard warrenty and they were also abt $1100 OTD. The way they perform is wonderful. Like Sean said WHAT A DIFFERENCE. They now have 7000 miles on them and they are still looking good and the Peformance is still wonderful. See Ya'll in Flag

Nitto Invos all 4.
Put Nitto Invos....255/40/19 on the front and 315/35/20 on the back. Put 35# all around as others on the forums suggested with the same tires. They look awesome, ride smooth and quiet. So quiet...I'm now hearing noises inside I've never heard with the O.E.M.'s. I like the thicker sidewalls to protect from curb rash. The speedometer reads about 1 mph slower at 60 mph (actual 59 mph at 60 mph) Had no problem mounting them on the O.E.M. rims. So far so good!!!! $1,200.00 out the door from Discount Tire in Central Florida.
Due to the fact that the origional size tires are now unavailable I have ordered a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza 235/50R19 and 275/45R20. Is anyone using these and if so how do you like them?
