Question about swapping out a 5.3 throttle body???

I am having a Brand new spare throttle body ported by Jeremy & swapping it out for the original that has been on my '04 since new.

I am wondering if there is any 'Relearning' or 'reprogramming' or other steps that have to be done when I reinstall

Please LMk & thanks

Damon

I ported and polished mine. From what I could find, pulling the two PCM fuses for a minute should do it. If you were having a custom tune done, the porting could be taken into consideration for that. Mine runs fine with the stock tune. Apparently a slightly rough idle is a common byproduct of the porting process. Doesn't affect driveability though

you can just install the new throttle body and go, you don't need to pull any fuses
