Front fender modifications for better air flow at 200 plus mph. Photos of the SSR Drag Truck made it into the December Issue of Muscle Car Magazine. It will also be in the next issue of Drag News.

Talking

When you start up that big block engine, I bet we'll be able to hear it over here in "P" town.

I LOVE IT; MOST PEOPLE PROBABLY DON'T SEE IT, BUT THE SSR HAS ALWAYS REMINDED ME OF A WILLY'S TRUCK; YOUR TRUCK GOES EVEN FURTHER; IT TAKES ME BACK TO THE MID SIXTIES AND AN A GAS SUPERCHARGED 41 WILLY'S DICK BURGOUIS DROVE IN SO. CAL. BURGOUIS & WADE AUTOMOTIVE WAS ON THE NEXT STREET FROM MY HOUSE AND I LIVED AROUND THE SHOP EVERY MOMENT I WAS NOT IN SCHOOL.

IF YOU REMEMBER OLD DRAG RACER'S; DICK WENT ON THE DRIVE FOR BIG JOHN MAZMANIAN AND EARL WADE WRENCHED FOR DYNO DON NICKOLSON, WHO HAD THE FIRST FLIP TOP FUNNY CAR AROUND 1966 IF I REMEMBER RIGHT; IT WAS A COMET AND THE FIRST SHAKE OUT RUN AT IRWINDALE THE BODY CAME LOOSE GOING THROUGH THE TRAPS. BECAUSE WE HAD NOT RUN FLIP TOPS AT THAT POINT IT LOOKED LIKE THE WHOLE CAR WENT AIR BORN AND DID BACK FLIPS. SORRY ABOUT THE RAMBLINGS, THAT WAS AN AWESOME TIME IN MY LIFE.

GOD BLESS THE USA
